Brian F. Durkin was installed as chairman for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New Jersey's 2006-2007 term at the association's 113th annual conference in Skytop, Pa.
Mr. Durkin is president of the Durkin Agency in Englewood and Ramsey, N.J.
The association also announced other appointments:
o William H. Malone Jr., partner of Continental Marmorstein & Malone in Paramus, N.J., will serve as chairman-elect.
o Jacqueline Jungsberger, vice president of Tri-County Agency of Brick in Bricktown, N.J., was named vice chairwoman.
o Charles S. Stults III, president of Allen and Stults in Hightstown, N.J., will continue his role as state national director.
o Bruce W. Hill, owner of the R. Bruce Hill Agency in Millburn and Point Pleasant, N.J., was named past-chairman.
o David R. Strout Jr., producer of Cettei and Connell Inc. in Woodbury, N.J., will serve as chairman of the Young Agents Council for IIABNJ.
