For those of you who don't already know me, allow me to introduce myself. I am Editor-In-Chief of National Underwriter, the most outspoken newsmagazine in the property-casualty insurance industry.
I'm in charge of day-to-day editorial operations at our print publication, and oversee NUs online daily news service at www.propertyandcasualtyinsurancenews.com. I am also a frequent speaker and panel moderator at industry conventions, seminars and conferences.
But it's my longtime column, “A View From The Press Box,” that has generated the most controversy during my 27-plus years at NU, as I attempt to help shape the industry's policy and direction by commenting on industry developments and the people behind them. Now I bring my provocative commentary to the Web with this blog.
