American Para Professional Systems, Inc. (APPS), a provider of paramedical exam services used in underwriting life and health insurance policies, and E-Z Data, a provider of front-office systems for insurance carriers, broker-dealers, and general agents, have reached a services agreement that will integrate their products.

Through the agreement, E-Z Data's Web-based SmartOffice for Agency Management solution and Windows-based Commerce Agency management solution will be integrated with APPSNet, an APPS internal case management system, to provide users with electronic ordering and status capabilities for paramedical services. Using the integrated solution, customers managing individual applications through the underwriting process will have real-time, seamless access to APPS's paramedical examination services.
