Chicago-based insurance brokerage firm Acordia Inc. said it has acquired Bodenhafer Insurance & Investment Group, with locations in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis, Ind.

Terms of the deal were not released.

Acordia, a subsidiary of Wells Fargo & Company bank, said Bodenhafer, which has served customers throughout Indiana since 1970, provides insurance products for business customers, specializing in employee benefits and estate planning.

The agency will continue to serve customers in the Fort Wayne and Indianapolis regions.

Acordia would not provide particulars when asked for information concerning the size of Bodenhafer.
