The International Insurance Society Inc. said Lawrence Lindsey, formerly director of the National Economic Council, and French Trade Minister Christine Lagarde will give keynote addresses at the group's annual conference this month in Chicago.
Patrick Kenny, president and chief executive officer of New York-based IIS, said in a statement that Mr. Lindsey's and Ms. Lagarde's talks will provide "perspective, comprehensive insight and expertise to profile the current economic state of their respective regions."
"We anticipate much interest in Mr. Lindsey and Madame Lagarde's presentations from our delegates who represent the insurance industry worldwide and recognize the correlation of regional economies to our industry," said Mr. Kenny.
