The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. said it has named Doug Eden regional president for the company's Midwest Region. Mr. Eden will work out of The Hanover's Chicago office.
The company said Mr. Eden's career has included roles in underwriting, accounting and finance, and small and middle-market marketing and distribution with several insurers, including USF&G, Fireman's Fund and, most recently, CNA, where he was senior vice president of property and casualty distribution management.
The Hanover Insurance Group is based in Worcester, Mass.
