Susan Rivera has been named president of Praetorian Financial Group, a specialty insurance underwriter and subsidiary of Hannover Re.
Rod Fox, chief executive officer of the New York-based company, said Ms. Rivera “has a rare talent for both management and execution, which will help Praetorian solidify its leadership role in the specialty insurance market.”
Prior to joining Praetorian, Ms. Rivera was president and CEO of ACE USA Group. She spent 15 years at AIG where she started as an actuary, with her last assignment as president of American Home Assurance Company.
