Michael Solano, Robert Thomas, and Michael Weis have been promoted to assistant vice presidents at Sunshine State Insurance Company (SSIC). Sunshine State writes homeowners' and other lines in Florida; it also operates in South Carolina. Solano will serve as assistant vice president-underwriting operations; Thomas as assistant vice president-underwriting product management, and Weis as assistant vice president-underwriting special programs.
The three assumed the duties of Michael Cratem, who joined the Ponte Vedra Beach-based MGA, King's Bay Insurance Services, as senior vice president-underwriting.
