Progressive Redesigns Web Site for Drive Brand
ForAgentsOnly.com, the password-protected Web site from Progressive Insurance that agents and brokers use to quote and service their customers through the carrier's Drive brand, has unveiled a new home page design and site navigation that make it easier to take care of business.
The redesigned site offers an at-a-glance summary of what agents and brokers need to know and do with their Drive business, with a focus on writing new business and servicing customers. This includes a real-time list of policies that need service, customer referrals, and claims activity. A new main menu and more intuitive site navigation are provided to help agents and brokers access the tools in just one or two mouse clicks.
When the redesign process started in the spring of 2005, Drive solicited input from agents and brokers to better understand how they use the site and what types of changes would make it faster and easier to use. The company continued to review progress with the agents throughout the redesign.
“Drive is committed to helping independent agents and brokers improve their workflow, and we think they'll be delighted with what they see when they log in to the redesigned FAO Web site,” says Tom Hollyer, experience business leader for Drive. “We recognize agents and brokers want to service their own customers. Our job is to help them do that in less time and with even less effort than before. So, our goal for the redesign was to give agents faster, 'one-or-two-click' access to the wide variety of tools and information available on FAO.”
The redesign also will serve as a launch pad for more functionality currently under development. FAO soon will be the main portal for the Drive agency participation program and will supply agents and brokers with access to a broad menu of Drive marketing opportunities, such as signs, direct mail, radio, billboards, and Yellow Page ads, all designed to help them promote their agencies.
