A new fingerprinting requirement for insurance agents will be among the areas that the National Association of Insurance Commissioners focuses on when it meets March 4-7 in Orlando, Fla., an official said.
Iowa Insurance Commissioner Susan Voss, chair of the "D" committee said she is at work on the development of a new version of the Authorization for Criminal History Record Check model act, also known as the Fingerprint model act.
Efforts to move the controversial model along stalled earlier this month when it did not receive a motion to advance it through the NAIC.
