InSystems has unveiled Calligo Enterprise 5.4, document-automation software with enhanced functions for document assembly, search, managing negotiated wordings, workflow, collaboration, and notification. New features are designed to help insurance carriers improve productivity and get new products to market faster.

Drag-and-drop creation of model documents makes it easier for users to create templates for policy production, proposal generation, and claims correspondence. This allows companies to provide personalized policies, contracts, logos, and letters that automatically use the writer's scanned signature, according to Neil Betteridge, vice president, marketing for InSystems.

Calligo Customizer, which manages customer-specific negotiated wordings, has been enhanced to provide simpler tracking of changes, easier location of previously customized wordings, and PDF preview. The new Calligo Promoter tool lets users manage and migrate product wordings through development, testing and production–improving productivity while reducing the risk of compliance exposures associated with using incorrect versions, explains Betteridge.
