The chief executive officers of five major insurance firms will take part in a panel presented on April 28 by the Richmond, Va.-based Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America, the group said.
IIABA said the group will speak at the closing general session at its National Legislative Conference & Convention in Washington, D.C.
Due to appear are:
o Edward M. Liddy, chairman and chief executive officer, The Allstate Corporation
o Ramani Ayer, chairman and CEO, The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc.
o Paula Rosput Reynolds, president and CEO, Safeco Corporation
o Gary R. Gregg, president and CEO, Liberty Mutual Agency Markets
o Michael Browne, president and CEO, Harleysville Insurance
Robert A. Rusbuldt, IIABA's CEO, will moderate the discussion. The panelists will tackle a variety of major issues affecting the independent agency system and the insurance industry.
IIABA said also up for discussion will be insurance industry trends, challenges facing the industry, agency and natural disaster issues, insurance regulatory and asbestos reform, the future of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act, and more.
The meeting will take place April 26-28 at the Grand Hyatt Washington and the Washington Convention Center.
