James Pettipas was named chairman of the Surplus Lines Association of California.
Mr. Pettipas is vice president of ECM Insurance Services Inc., a surplus lines brokerage firm headquartered in San Francisco.
Ceil Norton was elected vice chairman of the association. Mr. Norton is branch manager with Burns & Wilcox in Fresno, Calif.
