Encino, Calif.-based GNW-Evergreen Insurance Services brokerage said it has named Andrew Forchelli to the newly-created post of executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Mr. Forchelli was formerly with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies as assistant vice president and commercial lines underwriting manager for the Greater Los Angeles area.
GNW-Evergreen said Mr. Forchelli will have wide-ranging responsibilities including internal agency operations, carrier relationships, sales and organizational development, client relationships, marketing and finance.
The company last year completed building a 21,000-square-foot facility in Encino, Calif., to house the agency's 70-member staff. GNW-Evergreen Insurance Services, LLC was created in January 2004 uniting two longtime Los Angeles-based insurance brokerages
