Guidewire Software, a provider of solutions for property/casualty and workers' compensation insurers, announced Jeffrey Simpson has joined the company as chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors. Simpson is a veteran of more than 30 years in information technology and more than 20 years in software. He has been CEO of multiple companies, most recently at Viewlocity, a provider of supply chain management solutions. He previously led major software divisions as executive vice president at i2 Technologies and senior vice president at Oracle.
