Daytona Beach and Tampa-based Brown & Brown recently announced its asset acquisition of Axiom Intermediaries of Stoney Creek, N.C. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. B&B's existing reinsurance intermediary will merge into Axiom, whose current management will lead the combined operations from Stoney Creek.
Axiom also has offices in St. Petersburg, Naperville, Ill., and Wilton, Conn.
