What his firm is calling the nation's first university-accredited course on mold prevention is being taught by South Florida attorney Michael S. Greene, of Akerman Senterfitt at Florida Atlantic University. The course — “Construction Phase: Moisture & Mold Prevention” — is offered through the School of Construction Safety and Architectural Engineering, and is designed for architects, engineers, general contractors, and developers to identify water intrusion and prevent mold amplification in the construction process.

Greene handled what the law firm claims was the first mold litigation in the country — the Martin County Courthouse mold case.
