First Floridian Auto and Home Insurance Company, a personal lines subsidiary of St. Paul Travelers, said it has changed its name to Travelers of Florida.
“The key component in our growth strategy is our ability to market our products and services with our agents, customers and potential customers across the state,” said Nancy Baily, president of Travelers of Florida.
Ms. Baily explained, “Branding is a critical aspect of this strategy. The new brand name will create more awareness in the Florida marketplace due to Travelers' recognition as a highly respected national insurance company.”
The theme for the change is “We Put Florida First.” Travelers of Florida, based in Tampa, said it plans to introduce a new auto insurance product called Quantum Auto. The plan will consider a greater number of rating variables for a very refined, individual approach to pricing, coupled with more coverage options.
