Decision Research Corp. has introduced Portal Access, an add-on module to the company's DecisionMaker policy administration system. Portal Access allows insurers to offer agents and other distribution channels real-time access to their policy administration system. With the extended capabilities, Decision Research clients are able to deploy a single solution for their policy administration needs. The product offers immediate access to a single, current source of information and functionality. Insurers utilizing a policy administration system other than DecisionMaker also may take advantage of Portal Access through a configurable interface.

Portal Access highlights include: browser-based data collection; integration with policy administration systems; user-specific access to policies and quotations; and the ability to create supporting documents, such as declaration pages, proof of insurance cards, and quotation proposals
