BCF Technology, Inc., a provider of Web services, integration and aggregation of data, competitive intelligence information, and single sign-on technology solutions for insurance and financial services, has launched a multiplatform data-mapping solution.
The solution has been implemented in more than 200 insurance carrier transactions for commercial and personal lines and allows agents/brokers and carriers to exchange data in a normalized, efficient, and low-cost manner. Native data mappings from AL3 to ACORD XML include personal and commercial lines inquiry messages, automobile, marine, package, and umbrella.
Frederick Waite, president and COO of BCF says: "Insurance carriers and agents have been unable to exchange data efficiently and cost-effectively to/from their proprietary systems. Our solution removes the typical roadblocks of a proprietary system data structure, allowing agents and carriers to begin exchanging data and improve workflow while reducing costs. We are pleased many of our transactions already have been ACORD certified with others to follow."
