The National Association of Insurance Commissioners, Kansas City, Mo., released salaries for its top five highest paid executives in 2005.
They are as follows:
o Catherine J. Weatherford, executive vice president and chief executive officer, $331,390.
o Chris Evangel, managing director of the Securities Valuation Office in New York, $276,943.
o Brett Palmer, managing director of government relations in the NAIC's Washington, D.C. office, $225,267.
o Andy Beal, general counsel, $201,679.
o Mark Peavy, life and health actuary, $188,657.
