Claims News Service, Nov. 28, 10:45 a.m. EST — Manufacturers' Qualification and Validation Program, a firm that supplies qualification and quality assurance tracking systems, has hired Kirk Hansen as director of new business development. In his new position, Hansen will work with insurance claims and material damage executives to promote the use of quality aftermarket parts and manage the needs of collision repairers. He will be based in Chicago.
Most recently, Kirk served as vice president of insurer relations for IMACC. Prior to this, he was director of claims with the Alliance of American Insurers, a national trade association representing 340 property/casualty insurance companies.
