Abraham, president and chief executive officer of United Educators Insurance, and Bruce Camacho, president and chief executive officer of Assurant Solutions, recently were elected to the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America's Board of Governors. Abraham joined United Educators as president and CEO in January 1998. She has more than 14 years of experience serving the higher education community through various senior positions at Whitman College and Cornell University, and was named 2004 Insurance Woman of the Year by the Association of Professional Insurance Women.

Camacho was appointed president of Assurant in August 2000 and promoted to chief executive officer January 1, 2003. He began his career in 1990 as vice president of information systems for American Bankers Insurance, now an Assurant.

Pierce began his career with American Family in 1963, and has held various positions with the company. He assumed the position of president and chief operating officer in January 1990 and served in that role for nine years before being elected chairman and chief executive officer.
