Dane Havard, of Northern Adjusters in Anchorage, Alaska, was inaugurated as the 67th president of the National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters at the association's 68th Annual Conference. Other 2005/2006 national officers are Mark Richardson, Totura & Co., Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., president-elect, and Harold E. Kern, Champion Claims Service, Pittsburgh, Pa., secretary-treasurer.
Dan Walker, vice president of claim operations for Canal Insurance Co. in Greenville, S.C., was welcomed as the new chair of the NAIIA National Advisory Council system.
