The entry deadline for the National Underwriter “Commercial Insurance Agency Of The Year” award program has been extended to July 25. That gives you no more than six weeks to be considered for an award that boosts the stature and reputation of the three finalist agencies among insurers, fellow agents and buyers alike.

Representatives from three agency finalists will receive free roundtrip airfare to New York City for the award ceremony, along with free hotel accommodations for four nights (Sept. 8-11), coinciding with the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America annual conference.

The finalists–who will each receive separate profiles in a cover story for the Sept. 12 edition of NU–will take part in a Roundtable discussion on “The State Of The Agency System” on Sept. 9. Highlights of the Roundtable will appear in a special section in NU's Oct. 3 edition.

This is the fourth year NU has named a commercial agency of the year. The finalists will be chosen by Editor-In-Cchief Sam Friedman, with the ultimate winner picked by a blue ribbon panel of industry judges.

For full entry details, click on the award icon at the bottom of NU's home page–www.NationalUnderwriter.com/pandc. If you have any questions, contact Mr. Friedman at [email protected].
