Fitch Ratings downgraded the quantitative insurer financial strength ratings of Mississippi Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company and ANPAC Louisiana Insurance Company, and upgraded Apollo Casualty Company. Fitch said the actions are based on significant changes in the companies' third-quarter 2005 statutory financial statement information.

Jacksonville, Miss.-based Mississippi Farm Bureau's rating dropped from "single-A-q" to "triple-C-q." Springfield, Mo.-based ANPAC Louisiana Insurance Company's rating dropped from "triple-B-q" to "double-B-q."

Des Plaines, Ill.-based Apollo Casualty's rating was raised to "double-B-q" from "single-B-q."
