Brown & Brown insurance brokerage said it plans to acquire Axiom Intermediaries, LLC, headquartered in Stoney Creek, N.C.

Terms of the deal were not released. Completion of the agreement is subject to satisfaction of certain customary conditions, Brown & Brown said.
