Willis Group Holdings has appointed Ashok Dhawan as chief executive officer of its operations in India. He will be based in Mumbai, India.
As CEO, Mr. Dhawan's responsibilities will include expanding the capacity of the Mumbai office, optimizing client service and supporting the achievement of global processing efficiencies.
Mr. Dhawan was previously the chief operating officer of Intelenet, a joint venture of Barclays Bank, UK, and India's largest mortgage bank HDFC. Prior to Intelenet, he established the back office operations for GE Capital in India.
