Thomas O'Dowd was elected president of the Professional Insurance Agents of New Hampshire Inc. during the association's annual meeting this week.
Mr. O'Dowd is president of the J. Clifton Avery Agency in Wolfeboro, Conn. He will serve a one year term as head of PIANH.
He was the group's president-elect in 2004-2005 and chairperson of PIA's Government Affairs Committee. He also is a member of the Nominations, Executive/Budget & Finance and Membership Committees.
