Charles H. Dangelo was named vice president of reinsurance at American International Group Inc.
His appointment is immediate, the New York-based insurer said.
Mr. Dangelo replaces Christian Milton, who was fired by AIG when he failed to cooperate with regulators investigating an AIG reinsurance deal.
