AMS Adds 6 Carriers To TransactNOW System
NU Online News Service, April 15, 12:24 p.m. EDT?AMS Services, the technology system provider, said six carriers were added to its TransactNOW platform for a total of 52 carriers.[@@]
The carriers are: Arbella Insurance Group, based in Quincy, Mass.; Chicago-based CNA; Novato, Calif.-based Fireman's Fund; Frankenmuth Financial Group, headquartered in Frankenmuth, Mich.; Mutual Benefit Group, based in Huntingdon, Pa.; and Zurich North American, based in Schaumburg, Ill.
The Bothell, Wash.-based software firm said TransactNOW enables independent agents using AMS management system products to process business with their carriers using a real-time single-entry workflow direct from their management system.
Dave Shea, president of AMS Services, said the firm is committed "to expanding our partnership with all our carriers to make it easier for agencies to do business through their management system in real-time."
He said the firm plans to partner with agents and carriers in new and innovative ways, and "we look forward to adding more new carriers and features to TransactNOW."
TransactNOW uses ACORD XML standards and Web services technology to integrate carrier functionality directly into the workflow of the agency management system. Transactions and carriers can quickly be added to TransactNOW, and agents are immediately able to access these additions, AMS said.
