ISO, Maple Tech Sign Agreement
NU Online News Service, March 24, 3:56 p.m. EST?A unit of Insurance Services Office that provides a variety of claims data to insurers and managing general agents has made an arrangement with a technology firm to provide Web access to its products.[@@]
Jersey City, N.J.-based ISO said its Insurance Information Exchange, a provider of insurance underwriting information, has signed a marketing agreement with Maple Technologies to provide integrated underwriting solutions and policy and claims management services to insurers.
iiX, based in College Station, Texas, said it provides motor vehicle reports, credit scoring, and A-PLUS auto and property claims history reports to the insurance industry.
Maple Technologies, based in Manalapan, N.J., is a custom software developer that designs Web-delivered information systems and applications for property and casualty insurance carriers and managing general agents.
According to iiX, the agreement enables insurers and MGAs to access crucial underwriting information from iiX through Maple's Aspire Information System, which blends essential third-party underwriting validation information within its Web-based Aspire process.
A member of the ISO family of companies, iiX also offers an assortment of underwriting reports to the insurance industry as well as an array of employment screening services to the employment marketplace. Details are available at www.iiX.com.
