Marsh, Gallagher Complete Acquisitions

Marsh Inc., the insurance brokerage subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Co's based in New York said it has completed its acquisition of Corporate Systems, Inc., a leading provider of property-casualty insurance technology in the U.S. Marsh announced the acquisition in April.
Insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher, based in Itasca, Ill., said it has completed its acquisition of BenefitPort Northwest. Gallagher announced plans for the acquisition in July.
Terms of both deals were not released.
Corporate Systems will be integrated with the STARS practice of Marsh and the combined practice will operate under the name CS STARS.
Corporate Systems has 491 employees and is headquartered in Amarillo, Texas. The firm provides property-casualty risk information management, claims lifecycle management and medical bill management software and related services for insurers, third-party administrators, corporations, and government entities.
Ben Reppond, who founded the BenefitPort Northwest in 1981, will continue to serve as area president of Gallagher Reppond under the direction of Norbert Chung, executive vice president, Western region of Gallagher Benefit Services.
BenefitPort Northwest provides employee benefits insurance products and services to their clients in the Northwestern U.S.
The firm will continue to operate in its current Bellevue and Yakima, Wash., locations under the name Gallagher Reppond, a division of Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc.
