Glenn Hargrove Named Crump's First COO

NU Online News Service, Aug. 30, 3:30 p.m. EDT?Glenn Hargrove was named chief operating officer of Dallas-based Crump Insurance Services Inc., a wholesale insurance brokerage services firm.[@@]

The first COO for the firm, Mr. Hargrove, will have responsibility for day-to-day operations of Crump's 17 offices in the U.S.

Mr. Hargrove, 43, joined the organization in 1997 as a broker in the Houston office. In 2002 he was promoted to office head for the firm's Memphis, Tenn., office.

Crump is a unit of the wholesale insurance broker and underwriting management group that also includes Price Forbes, Victor O. Schinnerer and Encon. The units are divisions of the New York insurance broker Marsh, part of the Marsh & McLennan Companies.
