It may be reminiscent of the mascot for the Princeton University football team, but the fact that wholesale brokerage Princeton Risk Managers uses the image of a tiger as its logo has nothing to do with the alma mater of the firms founder.

No, says James Griffith, he didnt attend the university or play for the schools Princeton Tigers football teaman admission that belies his commanding presence. The fact that his firm is located in the New Jersey college town just made the image seem like a natural fit 30 years ago when he started up the business, he says.“There was an article [in another publication] that suggested I was a Princeton grad. But I did not go there. I had a cup of coffee there with some friends once. Thats about it,” he jokes.
