Background Check Software Announced

NU Online News Service, June 21, 4:17 P.M.?Innovative IT Solutions, Inc., a provider of online services and products for licensing, regulatory compliance automation and producer management in the insurance industry, has announced two new releases of its SIRCON and SIRCON.db products.

SIRCON Release 5.1 and SIRCON.db Release 2.0 will provide enhanced support for background investigations of insurance agents used in licensing and making appointments by carriers and states, the Okemos, Mich.-based company said.

Release 5.1 enhances status inquiries related to SIRCON's integration with the Depository Trust Clearing Corporation (DTCC) License and Appointment (LNA) service.

SIRCON.db allows insurance carriers of all sizes to leverage the power and security of the Web to manage and track all producer data. It allows carriers to maintain compliance and contract information on all producers and ensures that a carrier's producer data are always in sync with that of the states, the company explained.

Innovative said SIRCON.db Release 2.0 adds important integration and advanced processing capabilities for the industry's background investigation services including Performance Resource Screening Inc (PRSI), a division of First Advantage, Business Information Group (BIG), and General Information Services (GIS). Release 2.0 also includes enhanced role-based security and administration as well as improved navigation and usability based on customer feedback.

"Both SIRCON and SIRCON.db are important solutions for our customers in that they provide critical links between a carrier, its producers and the states. We've added a lot of new capabilities based on our customer feedback in order to better streamline complicated processes as well as make our solutions easier to use," stated Tim Owen, product manager for Innovative IT Solutions.

SIRCON and SIRCON.db are delivered in a hosted model and both are available immediately to all Innovative IT Solutions customers.
