Gingrich To Address CIAB Meeting
NU Online News Service, May 27, 3:40 p.m. EDT?The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers said former congressman and House speaker Republican Newt Gingrich from Georgia will address members during its third annual Employee Benefits Leadership Forum next week.[@@]
The conference will be held June 2-5 at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. Mr. Gingrich's keynote address will be given June 3. He is also scheduled to lead a panel of insurance company chief executive officers who will discuss the new look of group benefits products.
CEOs listed for the panel are: H. Edward Hanway of CIGNA Corporation; William T. McCallum of Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Company; and Dr. Kenneth R. Melani of Highmark.
Gary B. Kushner, an expert on employer benefit plans and the founder and president of Kushner & Company, will be the June 4 speaker.
Brian R. Klepper, executive director of The Center for Practical Health Reform and a health care business development consultant, will address a session on options for reforming employer-provided health care.
CIAB said it will release its spring market survey of the benefits sector on the opening day of the conference.
