Dollar Named COO At Southern Family Insurance
NU Online News Service, May 13, 12:15 p.m. EDT?Bobby C. Dollar has been named to the newly created post of president and chief operating officer at Southern Family Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Poe Financial Group based in Tampa, Fla.[@@]
Poe Financial said Mr. Dollar has over 30 years of experience in the property-casualty business. He has been involved in various underwriting and marketing roles throughout his career. His responsibilities have included personal, commercial and non-standard insurance products with a primary emphasis in the commercial area, the company said.
Founded in 1996, Poe Financial includes Atlantic Preferred Insurance Company, Florida Preferred Property Insurance Company and Southern Family. The companies offer a broad range of insurance services, specializing in homeowner and commercial habitation insurance throughout Florida. The carrier also operates Mariah Claims Services, a claims services company.
