VCIA To Offer Captive Seminar At RIMS April Confab
NU Online News Service, Jan. 30, 10:41 a.m. EST?The Vermont Captive Insurance Association announced it will hold a captive insurance information session for those attending the Risk and Insurance Management Society conference in San Diego.[@@]
The seminar, "Understanding the Strategic Advantages of Captives," will be held April 22, 3:00-5:00 p.m., for RIMS attendees interested in better understanding captive insurance, VCIA said..
Sponsored by the State of Vermont and VCIA, the seminar will include a panel of captive owners and the chief regulator from the State of Vermont. A reception will follow the seminar.
The event is free, but advance registration is required, VCIA said. More information and registration will be available on the Web site, www.vcia.com, in mid-March.
