Spencer Foundation To Honor Thrower
NU Online News Service, Jan. 14, 12:00 p.m. EST?The Spencer Educational Foundation Inc., established by the Atlanta Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, is celebrating 25 years of service supporting risk management education at the university level. The Foundation will honor Ellen Thrower, executive director of the risk management and insurance department at St. John's University.[@@]
Ms. Thrower, former president of the College of Insurance, which has since merged with St. John's, will be honored in September at a 25th anniversary dinner in New York for her service to risk management education, the New York-based RIMS said in a statement.
