Kibble & Prentice Acquires BGI
NU Online News Service, Jan. 30, 10:44 a.m. EST?Kibble & Prentice, a financial services firm providing insurance, employee benefits and consulting services, announced the acquisition of BGI Inc., based in Seattle.[@@]
Kibble & Prentice, based in Seattle and Bellevue, Wash., said the acquisition would bring the firm to 173 employees and increase its client base by more than 1,000. No financial terms were released.
Founded in 1978, BGI specializes in the medical professional liability market. The firm also provides commercial and travel insurance. Ken Wiltse, BGI's co-founder, and staff will join Kibble & Prentice in Seattle.
