BISYS Names Fradin CEO Replacing Ailing Sheehan

NU Online News Service, Jan. 21, 11:32 a.m. EST?Russell P. Fradin was named the new president and chief executive officer of BISYS Group Inc.[@@]

Mr. Fradin, 48, replaces Dennis Sheehan, who is stepping down for medical reasons. Mr. Fradin assumes his position Feb. 2.

Before joining BISYS, Mr. Fradin was a senior executive with Automatic Data Processing for seven years. Prior to ADP, he was a director at McKinsey and Company Inc., a management consulting firm.

BISYS, based in New York City, is a provider of business process outsourcing solutions for investment firms, insurance companies and banks. The firm also operates a national, independent property-casualty insurance wholesale unit.
