Marsh, Aon Granted Licenses in India Global insurance brokers Marsh Inc. and Aon Corp. announced separately that they were granted insurance brokerage licenses by the Insurance Regulatory Development Authority of India.
The brokers said they are among the first to obtain their licenses in India. Both said would provide insurance and reinsurance brokering services to clients.
Marsh, based in New York City, said it would provide its services through Marsh India Private Limited, a joint-venture business with its local partner, Rampart Group.
