CertificatesNow Integrates With Applied, IVANS
NU Online News Service, Feb. 11, 10:07 a.m. EST?Some 10,000 users of The Agency Manager (TAM), an agency management system from Applied Systems, now have access to extended online certificate of insurance services provided by ConfirmNet Corporation, Applied announced.
The agreement broadens the certificate-processing capabilities Applied Systems users already have through TAM and InScope, according to Wayne Pardue, executive vice president of Applied Systems, University Park, Ill.
While InScope enables TAM agencies to provide customers the ability to print, fax, mail and e-mail their own certificates, CertificatesNow offers new features including customized language and form capabilities, Mr. Pardue noted.
The integration with TAM also extends to certificate processing via IVANS Transformation Station, marking the first vendor-to-vendor integration of Transformation Station, said Rick Morgan, executive vice president of ConfirmNet. Users access ConfirmNet's applications and issue an insurance certificate through TAM and Transformation Station, without double entry.
CertificatesNow is San Diego-based ConfirmNet's flagship product and is an online engine for the delivery of certificates of insurance used by property-casualty agents and their carriers, the company said.
Applied Systems provides automation solutions for the property-casualty insurance industry.
ConfirmNet develops and markets Internet solutions for managing complex, high volume and paper-intensive business transactions. ConfirmNet said it has developed three Web-based applications to efficiently manage the entire lifecycle of an insurance certificate, from issuance to tracking.
