Hanover Signs Pact With CAA

NU Online News Service, Jan. 8, 10:03 a.m. EST?Combined Agents of America has signed an insurance distribution agreement with The Hanover Insurance Company.

Under the agreement, Austin, Texas-based CAA's 28 member independent insurance agencies will have access to the full range of commercial property-casualty policies Hanover offers.

Hanover said the arrangement with the managing general agent organization increases its commitment to offering commercial insurance products in Texas.

CAA said the combined system generates more than $240 million in premium business.

The Hanover Insurance Company, licensed in 50 states, is a property and casualty subsidiary of Allmerica Financial based in Worcester, Mass.
