If you are using the most current version of Sagitta [the management system used by the agency that submitted the question] and your system meets the requirements for server, workstation and database versions, you have Word integration through the “AMS Word Processing & Proposals” product. This product is used to create and maintain templates for correspondence, proposals and schedules of insurance, and to deliver the output to Microsoft Word. Client and policy information from the Sagitta database can be merged into a document as part of this process.

Integration is also available with AfW and Prime management systems. AfW fully integrates with Microsoft Word for schedules, proposals and form letters. Prime uses the word processor that is set up as the default application for documents with a .doc extension. Prime uses the default word processor whenever a user creates a new or edits an existing document.

Prime also has Mail Merge and Auto-Memo features designed to work with Microsoft Word. These special features allow the user to incorporate data from Prime into documents to avoid duplicate entry.
