CIGNA Group Insurance, a disability benefits provider, has integrated its disability management solutions system with FileNETs Acenza for Insurance application suite. This will provide CIGNA with a claims solution that will improve workflow and speed up claims processing.
The latest insurer to become a member of the MIB Group, Inc., is Life of the South Corporation. The life insurer will incorporate MIBs fraud protection system, MIB Checking Service, into its underwriting system for both life and health lines.
Trustmark Insurance, which offers managed care, medical, life, disability, and administrative services, has selected iWay Softwares XML integration software to help it meet provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) mandated by the federal government.
