PIA In NY Sets Regional Program For Jan. 23
NU Online News Service, Dec. 10, 1:31 p.m. EST?The Professional Insurance Agents of New York State Inc. announced it will hold its annual Metropolitan Regional awareness program on Jan. 23, 2003.
The Glenmont, N.Y.-based group said the MetroRap event will be held at the New York Marriott Brooklyn, Brooklyn, N.Y., beginning at 8 a.m.
According to the association, last year's meeting was attended by more than 350 agents, company representatives, exhibitors and other insurance industry professionals from around the state.
Warren Heck, chairman and chief executive officer of the GNY Mutual Insurance Co., based in New York City, is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the association's luncheon.
Sessions for continuing education credit will include:
? Senior healthcare issues and the independent agent.
? Current developments, trends and strategies in insurance agents' and brokers' E&O liability.
? A Panel Discussion on E&S insurance in the hard market.
