ISO Offers Online Terror Insurance Course In Seminar Series
NU Online News Service, Dec. 05, 4:05 p.m. EST?Jersey City, N.J.-based Insurance Services Office Inc. will launch a series of Web-based educational seminars in January, kicking off the series with a seminar on ISO's commercial property and liability terrorism forms.
These interactive seminars, 26 in all, will feature experts on risk and insurance and will be available free of charge to ISO's insurance customers. Participants will be able to view seminar contents on their computers and also ask questions and take part in discussions.
The first seminar, on the ISO policy forms crafted in response to the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act, will be held on Jan. 16.
Next in the series will be a terrorism insurance pricing seminar, focusing on ISO's loss costs and rating information filing, including analysis based on the terrorism loss estimation model designed by AIR Worldwide Corp., catastrophe-modeling subsidiary of ISO. The pricing seminar will take place on Jan. 30.
This seminar series, which will continue throughout next year and early 2004, will also tackle a number of other topics, including mold, employment practices liability insurance, kidnap/ransom and extortion coverage, management protection program, construction defects, Internet coverage and multi-state commercial auto changes.
