Gallagher Acquires New Orleans Agency
NU Online News Service, Dec. 11, 12:27 p.m. EST? Insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Encore Insurance & Bonding Inc. of New Orleans.
Gallager, based in Itasca, Ill., did not disclose terms of the transaction.
Gallagher said Encore is a full-service insurance agency specializing in risk management and commercial property-casualty insurance services and bonding for their clients in the marine, energy, oilfield, and construction industries.
The management and staff of Encore will relocate to Gallagher's offices in New Orleans and operate under the direction of Mitch Brashier, Gallagher's mid-South regional manager, the company said.
